RICHARD TANNER
CEO
Ric has been an entrepreneur his entire career. He has founded, managed, and exited businesses in the health care, education, restaurant and financial services industries. He has served as Regional Director of
Wealth Management and Private Client Services for three national commercial banks providing comprehensive financial services to privately held middle market business owners with business values
ranging from $5mm to $500mm.
Ric is an Exit Planning Strategist, Certified Financial Planner for 25 years, Life insurance agent, and Securities Principal. Currently he is CEO of Exit IQ and Wealth IQ Advisors. For the past 17 years Exit IQ has designed and executed hundreds of exit plans for middle market business owners throughout the United States.
He and his wife Colleen live in Utah and have been married for 45 years. They have 6 children and 16 grandchildren. Ric is an artist, and also enjoys cycling, golf, pickleball, water
skiing and snow skiing.

PRESIDENT
Cory is the President of Exit IQ. He has been involved in every phase of the firm’s growth and development since its inception, working directly with business owners to optimize company value, navigate complex transitions, and prepare for successful exits.
Under Cory’s leadership, Exit IQ has advised hundreds of companies across a range of industries on strategic readiness, succession planning, and maximizing enterprise value. Cory has consulted with founders, management teams, and boards of directors on key initiatives including shareholder agreements, buy-sell structuring, tax and estate alignment, equity incentive plans, and pre-transaction value acceleration. He is recognized nationally as a leading voice in exit strategy and business readiness and was named one of the Top 100 Innovators and Entrepreneurs in 2022, as well as one of the Top 100 Business Leaders in America in 2023.
Cory lives with his wife and four children in the Wasatch Mountains of Utah, where they enjoy an active lifestyle filled with horseback riding, boating, snow skiing, and time spent together in the outdoors.
